For over thirty years ceramics have played a major role in my life. I used to fire raku dishes according to the Japanese technique, for many years I manufactured Salzbrand ceramics in a wood-fired kiln and managed a ceramics workshop for special needs students. Now all my experience is being streamed into crafting accent and bonsai pots.
Aesthetic and durability are important factors in bonsai ceramics. I use eight different clays, one sometimes mixed with another, to achieve both beauty and frost resistance in pots between 3 and 80 cm.
I manufacture pots in any shape imaginable, formed by hand, thrown, assembled, whether round, oval, square, shallow or tall. Each pot is unique, glazed with my own glazes and fired to be frost resistant.
Is your tree in need of a new pot? Just contact me, I´d be pleased to help make your wishes and ideas reality.
I wish you and your plants much pleasure with and in my pots.
